Ex - Players Where are they now?

Edward Nelson - Class of 67'-A four sport  letterman while at MW went on to a stellar career as a Basketball Coach at Bay City High School. He led the Black Cats to the Class 4A State Championship in 1984. Still resides in Bay City.
 
Richard Richie - Class of 72'-Attended Texas A&I where he had a memorable career guiding the Javalinas to 3 NAIA National Championships and 46 straight wins. Now practicing Law in Mineral Wells.
 
Alvin Garrett - Class of 73' - After attending Angelo State Univiversity  he went on to the NFL playing with the New York Giants and in the Super Bowl with the Washington Redsins. Caught a touchdown pass from Joe Theisman. Now resides in Washington DC.
 
Jimmy Hopkins - Class of 74'- Resides in Hallsville, Texas employed as the East Texas District Supervisor for USA Compression in Longview.
 
Bill Kinder - Class of 76'- Went on to TCU where he earned Freshman All-American Honors. Today he can be heard as a disc jockey on KSCS radio in Dallas. He resides in Fort Worth.
 
Shawn Fisher - Class of 85' - Rams All Time Passing Leader, went on to Louisiana Tech and is now a parole officer for the Texas Dept. of Criminal Justice. He lives in Fort Worth.
 
Cole McKinnon - Class of 85' - Played on the undefeated 85 team. caught 24 passes for 377 yds and 6 touchdowns. Now an Asst. Warden at the Lindsey State Jail. He resides in Lone Camp.
 
Myron Thompson - Class of 85' - Still resides in Mineral Wells and is employed by the Parks and Rec Dept for the City of Mineral Wells
 
Tony May - Class of 86'- Went on to play at Angelo state Univ and is now an Asst Coach for San Angelo Central High. He resides in San Angelo.
